The Portland Arms
The website for the Portland Arms in Cambridge, UK. The Portland is a
pub which hosts live gigs, a recording studio, an internet and computer
gaming bar. Now under new management, it appears that it is business as usual. |

The Junction
The Junction is an innovative artistic centre in Cambridge, with a predominantly young audience, which
combines popular rock band and 'club' events with a variety of performing arts, an education and children’s
programme and the production of new work. The organisation (Junction CDC Ltd) runs two venues, The 1,000
capacity Junction and the 100 capacity Drama Centre which present over 900 events each year to 150,000
customers. The programme includes contemporary music, theatre, clubs, comedy, dance, workshops and classes.
These activities are supplemented by a range of multimedia, outreach, production and digital projects, as
well as a commercial external event management company that offers a range of services to clients.

The Loft
The Loft is Cambridge's Newest Live Music Venue
Recently Opened in December '05, the venue will play host to a variety of music events.
From 8th January 2006 The Loft will be open every Tues,Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun night.

Cambridge
Area Pool League
The Moon is a formidable force in the area pool league, and Cambridge
has some fine players in it. The league has six divisions and
plays two seasons each year, on Thursday nights with optional cup
competitions and big trophies. |
Moving Art
Based at the Bath House at the junction of Mill Road and Gwydir
St. Moving Art is a voice for special needs artists. They
regularly hold fundraisers and showcases around Cambridge and a
demonstration of their work is at the Moon now.
